What is a DAPsc?
Concretely, a DAPsc generally takes the form of a support arm fixed to the floor or a workbench, allowing it to support the weight of a tool, a part, or a body part. The goal is to relieve physical strain for the worker, and even to assist them in their movements for better performance of their activity.

For what uses?
Unlike exoskeletons, which are used as personal equipment for dynamic or mobile tasks, DAPsc are more often used as shared equipment at a fixed, demanding workstation.
Due to their specificity, DAPsc are perfectly suited for all work environments where the activity is repetitive or extends over time. For example, these devices are frequently used in industry (assembly, welding, sanding stations...), in the medical field (working under a hood, cleaning instruments...), or in the tertiary sector (supporting upper limbs in office work).
