HAPO is a light and discreet posture harness that reduces lumbar efforts and preserves intervertebral discs.
In fine, HAPO is an effective solution to reduce the risk of Musculo-Skeletal Disorders (MSD).
Specifically, HAPO is particularly suitable for tasks:
- In static standing position, it allows to have physical assistance for postures maintained the truncated forward
- In dynamic bending, it gives an impulse when rising and thus relieves the muscles of the back.
For who?
HAPO is not limited to a trade but rather to a type of tasks requiring a static or dynamic bending of the trunk.
Useable both outdoors and indoors, the HAPO has the particularity of being disconnected in such a way to be able to sit in an equipment or climb stairs without discomfort and safely.

How?
The HAPO works by partially redirecting the efforts of the top of the trunk (pectoral support) to the thighs using composite springs. The back belt allows, for its part, a maintenance without lumbar restraint. Laboratory tests showed that, compared to an exoskeleton-free situation, the HAPO allowed to reduce approximately -20% the solicitation of the back muscles.
